We found Hamptons initially quite hard to get hold of, they had many different agents none of whom managed to truly understand and learn the features of our property. This meant we ended up taking on viewings ourselves. Not what you expect from an international agent. We had a tough sales process and they did work hard at the end to complete it, bit generally it wasn't a great experience with them. I'm sure there are better local agents in Stroud, certainly some seem to be doing very well and getting good feedback. I won't be jumping back to Hamptons in the future, they just aren't worth what you pay.

It has been a pleasure to work with Hamptons. The road to selling wasn't always smooth sailing but the staff there, particularly Matt and Sarah, were quick to respond, reassuring and honest. They were professional and courteous at all times and were always prompt replying to my queries. My experience with Hamptons was generally very good. However, my experience with Sarah Parry was absolutely outstanding. As a new buyer to the area I received pretty good service from all the agents I spoke to but dealing with Sarah was special. It goes without saying that she was always efficient, friendly and helpful but I really appreciated the extra support she gave. Things like inside knowledge on the locations, comparative prices from other sales and a very balanced approach to sales pointing out potential drawbacks as well as the advantages. Nothing was too much trouble including meeting us for a last minute viewing on her day off. In the end we did not buy a property from Hamptons and strangely, I felt guilty that I had let Sarah down!
