Get it in writing! We were given two valuations for a ring, X if we exchange for cash and Y if we purchased an engagement ring and wedding band from them. We elected Y. We visited the shop on numerous occasions throughout the design process and each time I questioned if the valuation still stood as we still had possession of our ring, i was reassured each time that it would, even told ‘don’t worry we are not that kind of business’. Once we purchased the new rings, same question was asked but we needed to see the owner to close the exchange, which is almost impossible. After many failed attempts to meet the owner (at the times we were informed he’d be there) we decided to leave the ring at the shop rather than wait any longer. We received a call to say that the new valuation was half of the original offer, a significant amount of money. Conveniently none of the staff could recall the valuation price that I’d purposely reiterated to them on multiple occasions. It tainted what should have been a very happy process, we feel conned and we were made to like we were lying. Disappointing.

I went to Mann Jewellers at the end of last year to have some jewellery valued. I got an immediate valuation which I was very happy with, they went through the pieces and explained how the valuation was arrived at which was useful - would recommend.

Very poor service and dishonest.!!! Took new watch in for a link to be removed, On trying to remove link they broke the link. I was then told to come back in a few days once they had removed the link, on return of the watch I found it to be damaged. After confronting them and them telling me the watch isn’t meant to have links removed for adjustment (total rubbish) In the end they replaced the watch .!!

Had a new watch battery fitted, cheapest price, good polite ,friendly service. Fully recommended.

A lovely shop with helpful staff. This jeweller sells top quality merchandise. They often have a 50% sale. The last time I looked, they had rings from under £100 up to £17,500. Truly amazing jewellery.

Bought my wifes engagement and wedding rings here. Have bought other things to and had repair work done here. Friendly service, helpful and reasonable prices. They buy second hand things too.
