Ben has been tutoring my son in guitar and lately bass guitar, for around 9 months now, and he has been fantastic. He is relaxed, friendly and super encouraging, and is very patient when my son is often no. He has been responsive and encouraging to changing enthusiasms. He is also accommodating re changes to schedules. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I have been taking lessons with Ben since the start of the year. After self-teaching guitar, I felt like I was stuck in a rut of no progression. I decided to find a teacher, and this was Ben. Ben is an incredible teacher. He is extremely patient, and I never feel rushed. He is amazing at explaining, as well as making the lessons based around the students music taste in music and what they’re into. 100% recommend for anyone looking to learn to play, or take there skills to the next level!!

Ben’s been teaching my son for a few months now, and we’re really happy with the progress he’s made. Lessons are always tailored to his tastes, so he’s always interested and looks forward to lesson day and getting new stuff to learn. Ben’s been gradually introducing more music theory in a way that’s been graspable and relevant to what my son wants to play, and it’s really enhanced his style and musicality, all in a relatively short time.

Excellent guitar teacher, highly recommended. Knows how to judge ability level perfectly, so as to provide the right level of instruction, introducing new techniques and theory as appropriate. I wasn't sure about taking lessons, but Ben's teaching has made a world of difference to my playing.

I have been having lessons with Ben for five years. Lessons are well thought through, help me to develop my playing and are very enjoyable. Ben is a very accomplished guitarist who communicates well.

I have been having lessons with Ben for about 18 months, though Covid has meant that sometimes the lessons have not been able to be regular. Ben adapted to teaching via Zoom quickly, though I am really glad face-to-face lessons are back. I am a very late starter (being 50) and had been mucking around on guitar for years on my own but not getting anywhere. I looked around for a teacher who had the technical ability to show me how to play the stuff I want to be able to play, which is way above my level, but it is great to see how to do it in front of your eyes! He emails professional PDFs of the weekly work which are very clear and is a perfectionist with technique – small things can make a big difference. Ben is a great teacher: very patient, encouraging, generous, flexible and an amazing guitarist.
