'They genuinely care' After 6 months of appointments at a previous Vets in Cheltenham, our cat Woody (12) began suffering from skin irritation and nervous overgrooming. On top of this, he had begun to stop eating and started to ingest litter... We tried time and time again to get his blood taken, nails clipped, and urine samples from our previous Vets. Still, they were 'unable to' because he was too wriggly (non-aggressive though, he has never scratched or bitten anyone)—instead, a heavy dose of steroids for 3 months, which began affecting his behaviour and personality. With ONE visit to the vets at AAS Stroud, blood and urine were taken, a new medicine was prescribed, and nails were clipped. They also drained his bladder and did an ultrasound within a week. Following this, the incredible team called us every 48 hours to check on his condition for the last two weeks and he is on the road to recovery, with a plan in place to continue his recovery. Not only this, the team works through their lunchbreak, always takes our calls and proactively advises us on their investigations. We can't thank you enough. 10/10 service. They genuinely care.

A nice friendly and conveniently located practice. I would give 5 stars if it (like all other practices in the area) the pricing was more fair and affordable. I don't agree with amount you have to pay nowadays for a consultation nor paying the fee per animal if you are bringing them in together for the same problem.

Fitted me in quickly, vet lovely, receptionist friendly, just have to pay up front with costs and claim back from insurance afterwards which is not always easy

Very disappointed to know that I have to wait for 24 hours in order to collect ONE tablet for my dog...I was happy to collect it just before their closing time. One tablet!! Come on guys!!

We had our dogs 'Animal health certificate' done here and it couldn't have been easier. At the port we were told a lot of the certificates produced were defective and people were turned away but ours sailed through thanks to AAS. Price was competitive too. We would highly recommend AAS to anyone.
