Update: I bought a second mattress for my son and had the same excellent customer service and quality. We had wonderful experience with Saymor- went in, tried out a few mattresses, found a good one, was given a discount and it was delivered later on in the week. So simple and easy, great customer service and a really comfortable good value mattress. Highly recommended.

I have bought my mattresses from Saymours for a number of years now. On 2 occasions the mattress wasn't quite what I expected after sleeping on it for a few nights (too hard) and David (owner) kindly took the mattress back and let me choose another one. I find the people that work there polite and helpful and not too pushy. I know nothing about mattresses but they seem like very good quality and I certainly have a good night sleep on them. I will keep buying from Saymour Furnishers.

Thrilled with our new bed and the service was unbeatable. Sales advisor was helpful and friendly, delivery service rang me the day before with a time window and called me half an hour in advance on the dot to advise me the delivery would be there, and we had the best night's sleep we have had in years on our new bed! Amazing service. Recommended by a close friend, I called David Saymor to understand what might be available for a guest bedroom we are redecorating pre Christmas. 2 Hours later our bed was delivered by their very helpful driver too! Totally recommend - excellent service!

Having spent a long time looking for the "right" sofa bed we spotted one in the window which turned out to have that magical mix of working as a sofa and a bed. Made in Britain and delivered to our spare bedroom in the fabric of our choice within a couple of weeks. Awesome service and updates throughout.

Absolute Gent who dealt with us. Far better than the previous shop at Saul that we visited. Attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. Gave us a great deal on a riser recliner for mum. Then later received a phone call and offered us the same deal for dad. Also bought a 2000 spring mattress for a good price. Can't fault it. Going back soon for more furniture. Addendum. Bought a box divan from them 20 years ago and still going strong. Mattress is the only thing that has raised the white flag due to my large size!

Very pleasant, friendly and trustworthy local company. No hard sell and a good level of stock to get a real feel for what you are buying. A range of prices available too. All was done on time and with minimum fuss. You may be like to use online, but the risk is that you may not quite get what you expect when you can't test the items; and also online places will not allow you change once the mattress is opened. For beds, seeing and trying the product first is essential. You get to support local and real retailers too which for me is important.

I had the best service as always from Saymor. Bought previous beds from there but this time wanted the best mattress for my back problems. Looked online did my research and thought a hybrid. I decided to get advice from Saymor, described my back problem and lack of sleep/ pain. Great advice and no pressure to buy just very helpful. I then booked an appointed and tried the eclipse pocket springs and memory foam. The mid-firm definately for me in preference to soft or firm. No doubt so bought it great deal in the sale. Arrived as booked on Thursday 30th July. Best night sleep ever, woke with no back pain and same Friday. worse bit is not wanting to get up now! This is the most comfortable mattress I have ever had and the best buy. Glad I supported local shop and experts and did not buy online.
