Very busy market. Lovely organic products like honey, cheese and vegetables. Bought purple sweet potatoes! Great coffe stolls. The bread and pastries were just amazing. A must go on a Saturday morning if traveling to the Costworlds.

Charming little rural town market - different stallholders on different days, but a fair variety of offerings - today there were fish, meat, fruit and veg, honey, cheese, olives, cakes, fabric, jewellery and garden ornaments

Get there early as some of the stores are emptied by 1pm. Butchers, green grocer's, clothes, gin, stone wear, bakers, stores selling street food and Excellent fish mongers. Good old traditional market. Good day out. Excellent idea as the town is busy. Other towns should take note.

As foodies, my family and I loved our day trip to Stroud Shambles Market. We had been recommended to come here by family friends and it surpassed our expectations! The atmosphere was enchanting and welcoming! There were plenty of stalls which had a huge range of produce. We definitely want to come back again!

One of the best town markets around. I lived in Stroud many years ago and its great to see the town create such a vibrant scene in the new century. A bit like Frome and a great example for many other small towns. I really wouldn't mind moving back there.
