Completley Appalled !
Disgusting and unacceptable behavior of your security staff !!
No you were not just doing your job Sir !!!
And if you felt your behavior served as part your job description.
Then pity for you ! You should be ashamed of yourself !!!
There are simply no words to describe of the level disgust just experienced at this establishment!
Understandibly a level of security is necessary in this day and age. But no security person is entitled !!
I will never enter this establishment ever again !

Fun live music and has been good for sport in the past.
But a slightly dodgy establishment with sometimes violent door staff.

This pub was visited today
I found it a propper friendly locals pub
There were 2 grand real ales on hand pump
This pub has a grear easy going atmosphere with good background music on
This pub will get 5 stars off me if it could have 3 handpumped ales on
Everything else about this pub is 5 stars

Was a really good time. We didn't stay too long, but I believe some music was being set up as we saw a car outside unloading speakers etc, atmosphere was great and that's with us missing the music. I have no doubt if we had stayed, we'd have enjoyed the whole night. Definitely give this place a try

Real ale in good company. A great place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of a genuine British pub. Even though I was the only Australian in the place while the battle for the Ashes was on the telly, the banter was friendly, the locals welcoming and cheery. If you're in Stroud make sure you pop in for a pint or two.

Brilliant pub. Staff are so polite and cheerful. The Queen Vic doesn't serve food but you are welcome to bring your own in and eat it whilst watching the Sports on Sky or BT Sports

Rough, poorly decorated sports style pub which has the worst colour scheme I have seen in a pub for some time. No food available, not really children or woman friendly. Bare with no atmosphere and completely taken over by TV screens at each end of the Bar. It’s such a shame as the location is really central the building is historic and could have been renovated in a really sympathetic way but they’ve done the opposite. The owners haven’t got a clue 🤦♀️ Even the owners dogs didn’t look like they wanted to be there…

Nice pub. Good selection of beers, ciders, ales and more.
Live music normally in the main bar which has always been good whenever ive visited.
Side bar opens up later in the evening with a dj and dance floor. Vibes normally good there too.
Decent outside area with plenty of benches.
Overall nice place to go
